These baskets were woven by a community Ndebele women weavers in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The Ndebele women have passed down the knowledge of weaving from generation to generation and use it as their main source of income, which empowers them and allows them to earn a sustainable livelihood. These were made by hand and are each one of a kind.
Please note that these baskets are handwoven, therefore minor flaws and imperfections are normal and to be expected.
Recommended: Place this basket in the corner of your favorite room or next to a chair. The smaller ones even look nice on a shelf! Place a branch with leaves or dried florals for an added touch.
